About Us
Altavision are specialists concentrating on supplying a range of steel castings, steel forgings, screw anchors, screw anchor rods and fabricated steel components. In addition we manufacture special purpose alloy components. We have been operating since 2002 in our current form. We have 1400 square meters of factory and warehouse space on a 2000 square meter block at Concorde Drive, Keilor Park in Melbourne. We have production agreements with 4 different suppliers in China, each specialising in certain types of products. We have 4 full time employees in China who do material testing and inspection before goods are shipped to us.
The principal, Vijay Prakash, is a hands on engineer with an Engineering degree in Metallurgy, a Masters degree in Metal Casting and 35 years of experience in the foundry industry.

Quality Management
We have two fully equipped material testing laboratories in China with 30T Universal testing machine, Impact testing machine, Hardness testing machine and a Galvanizing testing meter. One laboratory is at the foundry that does our Steel Castings and one laboratory is at the Steel Forgings factory. We randomly check analysis here in Australia with Spectrometer Services in Coburg, and we do NATA approved mechanical testing at Sinclair X ray Services in Werribee.
